New Cage

October 2012

The next day after I got my rabbit, I started to research about rabbits online. Rabbits need lots of care, but they are actually easy to care for. The three main things you would need are : hay, water, and pellets. Those are the main foods it consumes. The other things that you may need are : a bowl, litter chips, and a water bottle. Rabbits need lots of hay each day for their digestion, rabbits cannot digest their hairballs nor can they hurl it out of their mouths. Fresh water is important as well. Water must be changed at least once every day, or refilled when its empty. After a few weeks into October, Snacks began to grow a lot. I fear he would jump out of the fish tank soon, eventually he did. Thank goodness he wasn't hurt but after I placed him back, he started jumping out more and more times. After that I bought a rabbit cage for him to stop his escaping, and it worked.

First Rabbit

November 2012

I got my rabbit at a night market in Taiwan. When I first saw Snacks, he was as small as my hand. Snacks was a small gray little rabbit with stubby white paws and white belly, and his nose had a darker color fur. Snacks was only three weeks old then, the shopkeeper told me that it was a male rabbit and told me how to take care of him. I took him home in a small cardboard box. I didnt use a cage at first. I used a large fish tank, layered with chips on the bottom. Snacks enjoyed his new home at once. He was a curious rabbit, and started exploring his domain as soon as he stepped in. I finally got a furry best friend.
